About Me
About me:
My career began as a Development Specialist, working with children in all kinds of settings. As a kid myself, it seems I was born to draw or paint, so over time I combined the two skills. I have taught art to students of all ages and abilities over the last 15 years. Currently the Covid has either shook us up, or turned a lot of our lives upside down. Before the pandemic, I taught therapeutic art to nursing home residents, intellectually challenged, and handicapped. I also taught pottery classes. I currently teach art online. I would like to offer more to people as we work through isolation, and find outlets for creative expression, connection and joy.
